Nintendo Direct News (Splatoon)

They also showed the new shooter that will be coming out for Wii U, Splatoon. Splatoon is a game when humanoid squids shoot ink against other humanoid squids to get more territory on the stages.

Two battle types have been released, Ranked battle is people get ranked for doing levels online (this will be based on wins and losses). Battle dojo is when 2 people can play locally. One uses the gamepad screen and the other uses the main TV, this can help with some friendly competition and practice some moves  before you go online. 

You get 3 Amiibos, the Squiding girl and boy and the squid if you buy it when it comes out. You can do exclusive missions and get special missions with these and weapons as well.

This game will be coming out in MAY 29th.
