Smash Analysis Yoshi (A bit of thanks to another blogger as well)

Hello SoopahGamer here and today we are going to be talking about Mario's faithful steed (or that dinosaur that you dumped in a hole to get that extra jump.) He is one of my favorites, it's the omnivore of the year, it is none other than YOSHI!!

T.Yoshiosaur Munchakoopas (that is it's legit name)

It is quite a powerhouse with a variety of moves that can deal with particular problems. Also it is the only fighter that doesn't have a up special that "helps" when recovering (it's up special is one that only gives out a short hop nothing too radical), But he does have a high second jump so that keeps you covered. to a degree. Where it shines is when it is using his down aerial attack. Not only does this do tons of damage (42% if done correctly) it can turn shields into dust.

Combo's that you can do with Yoshi (Atrik Dan did this check out his blog http://gameanalysts.blogspot.co.uk/)

1. Run- Short Jump on Opponent - Down Aerial (Works on ground and air)
2. Up Tilt 3 times - Finish off with up smash (does 32 damage). Works only at low damage.
3. Dash attack- egg roll opposite direction as dash- hit twice- finish with side smash or side tilt
4. Up smash- jump- up aerial- land and jump for second up aerial (works at high damage).
5.  Dash attack- 4 neutral attacks- side smash- jump off stage- spike with forward aerial- egg throw back to safety.

Pros and Cons of using Yoshi.

P. Variety (keep your opponents guessing)

P. Isn't it just cute

P. Defense is good 

P. Perfect counters for people that need to recover

P. Can be a aerial/ground fighter

P. A lot of killing moves.

C. Lack of a Special Recovery means you can be footstooled and you will be skrewed

C. Egg Rolling is never recommended because you can self destruct from it easily

C. Few moves leave him open. 

Overall Yoshi is a great character and if you can use him to your advantage because you can go far with him.
