SSB4 Analysis (Sonic)

Hello SoopahGamer here. Today I am going to an a Smash Analysis on the fastest hedgehog around, he had one of the worst games in 2014 however in Smash they stuck to his original modern design. Anyway he is the Blue Blur, Sonic the Hegdehog.

At first I was a bit skeptical of using him because in brawl I remember him being terrible because like most players, I could not control the speed that he had, but now he can not only control it to a high degree, you have the potential to pull some awesome combos with them if you can control it properly. 

He is more powerful as well, with his back throw and most of his moves/smashes having some kind of killing potential as well, he is  good aerial fighter as well with the spring giving him a very high jump so if your opponent is recovering, you can use him to punish them and return onto the field. 

Pros and Cons of Using Sonic

P. He's the blue blur so gotta go fast,

P. Fast Combos.

P. Has Reliable smashes.

P. Still has the killer final Smash.

P. Not easily grabbed in his Sonic ball like Yoshi in his egg.

P. Easier to play than in smash.

P. His spring can be used to hurt people as well.

C. Shulk (Speed) and Palutena (Lightweight) can both out-speed Sonic 

C. Light/medium so easy to kill

C. No projectiles (can be a disadvantage)

C. Taunts has been changed to him saying different stuff (Sorry had to add this)

C. Can be predictable as there is not a variety of move-sets for them

Overall great character but it should have kept at least some of the features in Brawl e.g taunts. Good pushier just need to develop your own play style for him and you got yourself a awesome character.

Here is a example of the Professional Player 6WX playing as the blue blur in a tournament.
