Nintendo News (Two for Smash and another for YouTube Creators that want to Advertise Nintendo)

SoopahGamer here, over the last two days, Nintendo has been giving out a lot of news and I think it's time for me to start to report on what going on for the console giant.

1. More Stages for 8 Player Smash
There will be 15 new stages to do 8 Player Smash in free DLC, on it's next update, it will contain 6 new final destination stages and 9 normal levels, and it's a really small download (only 316 MB).
You can feel the variety
The stages will be as follows

  • Mario Circuit (Final destination variant)
  • Luigi's Mansion
  • PyroSphere
  • Norfair
  • Lylat Cruise (Final destination variant)
  • Pokémon Stadium 2 (Final destination variant)
  • Animal Town & City (Final destination variant)  and Smashville
  • Wii Fit Studio
  • Mario Galaxy (Final Destination variant)
  • Kirby-The Great Cave Offensive (Final Destination variant)
This Update is out now and it works on version 1.0.2.

I know Nintendo is new to all this DLC stuff and all but they are doing it well, free DLC which is good is hard to come across these days and what Nintendo has done is made a good example of  DLC which is great and hopefully if they do the ones where you have to pay it will be awesome.

2. Super Smash Bros for 3DS and Wii U could be Sakurai's last games
With a game as perfect as this one, I don't blame him.

Smash Bros may be last game for one of the best game creators last games, Masahiro Sakurai has emphasized that these game's could be his last, You got to give him credit Smash Bros and the development of the games has taken a toll on him, after making 5 installments of the game and has done great feats for video game history (he developed one of the most iconic video game characters, Kirby, when he was 19.) and his games have been rated very highly. But as shown his workload for Smash Bros has taken a toll on his health physically, mentally and emotionally.

I don't blame him, these games look extremely polished, having few glitches and games that have come out a decade ago still being popular in the gaming community (Melee) and it is likely that it has taken it toll on Sakurai and I fully respect him for that and the time he has taken to develop these games.

Thank you Sakurai you are more than awesome.

I doubt it will be the end of Sakurai, I think he just needs a lot of vacation time because of Smash, he had a lack of a private life also a lot of time went into these game (it took 1 year to develop and I was excited for all of that time). Then I think he will just go back to normal and work on some less stress inducting games and some smaller projects, then he can still be a great game designer, because you can take the work from the artist but you cannot take the artist from the work.

3. Nintendo Could be sharing ad revenue with You-tubers that advertise their games

Nintendo could be supporting You-Tubers to advertise their games on their channels, if you don't remember back in 2013, Nintendo has a bad reputation on YouTube for taking down some copyrighted content from some channels and taking advantage of some you-tubers as well and taking all ad revenue from videos. But you have to be registered with their creator program "which is in beta" to show the content. There will be sharing their ad revenue with Nintendo by 60-40 at first (you get 60% and Nintendo gets 40%) or 70-30 if you are a dedicated Nintendo you-tuber. It's still in beta now but you can sign up when it's in full at the 27th May.
It's Legit and it could help many You-Tubers

Personally, I want to become a You-Tuber and I want to have my own channel because I see it as a way that I can get my more creative side more. I'll have almost no limitations to what I can do with my channel unlike this blog which is really owned by Peacemaker and I just post mostly news. However I have no equipment to do this other than a computer and I really need some donations for me to start with this but if you can there is a donation button on the blog that will help to fund the blog and it can help for us to give more up to date news and for us to develop more ways to hit more people that maybe interested but haven't heard of this blog.
